During my career in the music, film, and television industry, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people, often requiring me to “read” their character. This has given me, if I may say so, a strong understanding of human nature. I tend to quickly sense who someone is, what kind of personality they have, and where potential pitfalls may lie.
From personal experience, I know how challenging it can be to find a new partner. After 30 years, my marriage came to an end, and I began my own search for love again. That, however, is easier said than done. Over the years, your expectations do not diminish, while the compromises you are willing to make often become smaller. Yet it is precisely then that it becomes important to remain open, to be tolerant, and to embrace the possibility of a new connection despite the life experiences you carry with you. Love allows us to flourish, to radiate like the sun on a clear day, and it simply makes life more beautiful.
